Heat Wave

Wearing: Skirt/ Blouse/Shoes/Necklace : Hill Road, Bandra. Bag: Zara

Summer has been anything but kind. It's ridiculously hot. The sunshine burns your skin and the humidity is like the devil's incarnate.. It's nature's conspiracy. And when you are in a helpless situation like that, you do what you can do best. In my case, dress for it. Of course you might sweat gallons and your hair is a greasy mess, but at least you look good.Or so I think. ( Fishing for compliments)

Dressing up for summer does not come easy to me. Mostly because I am antipathetic to colours ( pastels, white..summery colours basically) and partly because I dislike stepping out of my comfort zone.

So I do the best I can, while sticking to colours I love.

I have been on the lookout for a chiffon midi skirt for the longest time. And the pretty ones that I did actually find were absurdly overpriced. Luckily enough, I found this gorgeous floral chiffon maxi skirt for 300 rs. I, of course asked the seller to tailor it according to my liking. One good chop and  few odd stitches later it was pure chiffon heaven.

Maybe summers are not THAT bad. It's the season of mangoes after all. The only reason why I like summer.

See you soon..ish
